The White Panda, Aer, Jesse Marco, Keys N Krates, Spose to headline raucous College Snowfest Week at Sugarloaf

Wild week features nightly concerts, plus discounted skiing and lodging for college students

CARRABASSETT VALLEY —  Sugarloaf is set to host The White Panda, Keys N Krates, Aer, Jesse Marco, Spose, Cam Groves, DJ Nugget and more during the resort’s annual College Snowfest Week, Jan. 6-9.

The annual event draws thousands of college students from around New England and features nightly parties, high-energy musical performances, and discounted lift tickets and lodging packages for anyone with a valid college ID.

The White Panda, one of the nation’s biggest mashup acts, will headline this year’s event, with support from national touring acts Keys N Krates, Aer, Jesse Marco, and Maine’s own Spose.

Formed in 2009 by two childhood friends, The White Panda has quickly become one of the nation’s hottest mashup acts, with 27 different singles reaching #1 on Hype Machine, and performances on some of the biggest stages in the country, including a 2012 performance at Lollapalooza in front of 15,000 fans.

Known for their electric panda masks and energetic performances that keep audiences dancing for hours, The White Panda will close out College Snowfest Week with a Thursday night performance.

Keys N Krates, a Toronto-based electronic trio, will kick the week off on Monday, January 6. Featuring turntables, keyboards, and drums, Keys N Krates creates high-energy remixes on stage, wowing audiences and keeping crowds on their feet.

One of the nation’s premier DJs, New York-based Jesse Marco will bring the house down on Tuesday, Jan. 7. At just 22 years old, Marco has established himself as one of America’s top touring DJs, featuring lively performances and eclectic mixes that leave audiences thirsting for more.

Maine’s own Spose and Cam Groves will get the crowd fired up on Wednesday, Jan. 8, when they open for Aer, an up-and-coming group out of Wayland, Mass, on a rocket-like trajectory. Starting with their own mix tapes that landed them at the #1 spot on the iTunes hip-hop charts, Aer released their debut album “The Bright Side” and watched it skyrocket to the #1 spot on the iTunes Album charts.

College Snowfest Week will also feature Pittsburgh-based DJ Nugget, who rocked the College Snowfest dance floor in 2013, Renegade Soundstation, a perennial Sugarloaf Reggae Fest favorite, and Soul Rebel Project.

Admission to each nightly show is just $10, or free with any week-long College Snowfest ski-and-stay package. Nightly performances in the King Pine Room are open to ages 18-and-up, while shows in the Widowmaker Lounge are 21-plus only.
