LEWISTON — Frank Glazer, a pianist of international renown, will perform sonatas by Mozart, Weber, Hindemith and Beethoven at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, in Bates College’s Olin Arts Center Concert Hall, 75 Russell St.

Glazer, of Topsham, has had a distinguished career that includes numerous recordings, solo recitals and performances with orchestras and chamber ensembles. A student of Artur Schnabel and Arnold Schoenberg, he is at home in every style of music from Bach to contemporary.

The program for the Oct. 25 consists of W.A. Mozart’s Sonata in G major, K. 283; Carl Maria von Weber’s Sonata No. 3, Op. 49; Paul Hindemith’s Sonata No. 2; and Ludwig van Beethoven’s Sonata in B-flat major, Op. 22.
