1997 – 2013

AUBURN — Taylor E. Dubois Stetson, 16, of Oxford died Oct. 17 after a long and courageous battle with Melas syndrome.

She was born in Portland on Aug. 12, 1997, the daughter of Paul Dubois and Lori Yeaton Stetson. Taylor was a student at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, Class of 2016.

She was a recipient of the Brittney Waterhouse Power of Perseverance Award and a member of the Creativity Class. She enjoyed drama club during middle school, as well as crafts, movies, music and rides in Uncle Scott’s Hot Rod. She loved her family and friends.

Taylor is survived by her father, Paul and his wife, Bonnie; her mother, Lori and her husband, John; two sisters, Stephanie Diffin and her husband, Mat, and Mandi Stetson; a stepbrother, Glen; a stepsister, Callie; grandparents, David and Wanita Yeaton, and Cleveland Stetson; also Aunt Therese, Uncle Billy and his wife, Cindy, Uncle Andy and his wife, Sanea, Aunt Rachel, Uncle Don, Aunt Venice and husband, Bob, Aunt Peggy and husband, Maurice, Uncle Robert, Aunt Joline and husband, Terry, Aunt Rose Marie, Aunt Carol and husband, Scott, Uncle David Yeaton and wife, Heidi, Uncle Stephen Stetson, Uncle David Stetson and wife, Kathy, and Aunt Carol Vaughn and husband, Gerry; many special cousins, friends and extended family; and special teacher, Kate Franklin.

She was predeceased by her grandparents, Rosario and Anita Dubois.
