1922 – 2013

AUBURN — Theresa Saucier, 91, a resident of Clover Living Center, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Hospice House surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Fort Kent on March 13, 1922, a daughter of the late Maxim and Phoebee (Dumont) Bouchard. She married Ivan Saucier on July 5, 1939. Together they raised 16 beautiful children.

She was a member of the Pathway Vineyard Church in Lewiston. Along with raising her family, she worked in local shoe factories and in her later years she devoted her time to the foster-grandparent program for 18 years.

Theresa always put others’ needs before her own. She was a caregiver for her father and mother while still raising her family. She lovingly took care of her daughter, Linda, through her illness and also went to Florida to care for her ailing brother, Alva.

She loved family gatherings and cooking for her family, enjoyed crocheting and reading the Bible. She will be sadly missed by her loving family as well as many close friends. Her kind, caring and generous spirit will be remembered by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
