New Auburn Seniors relocate
AUBURN — New Auburn Seniors said goodbye to St. Louis Church after 35 years. One hundred twenty members enjoyed a harvest dinner.
The group is now looking forward to the move to Sacred Heart Church, 8 Sacred Heart Place. No bingo will be held for two weeks. Members expect to be up and running Wednesday, Nov. 6, for the meeting at noon. The group meets every Wednesday.
The next meal will be a turkey dinner at noon Wednesday, Nov. 20. The cost is $5. Members and guests invited.
Fall Family Festival Oct. 27
AUBURN — The United Methodist Church, 439 Park Ave., will hold a Fall Family Festival from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27.
There will be activities for the young and the young at heart. Special attraction will be Mr. Drew and His Animals Too, a hands-on animal show for all ages.
There will also be games and treats for everyone. No costumes please. Admission is free. For more information, call the church at 782-3972.
Author/illustrator at Library
AUBURN — Maine author/illustrator Jeannie Brett will be at the Auburn Public Library at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, in the Androscoggin Community Room.
Brett is the author of “Little Maine” and the illustrator of “My Cat, Coon Cat” as well as “L is for Lobster,” “M is for Mayflower,” “P is for Passport” and “Fishing for Numbers: A Maine Number Book.”
The Maggie Trafton Authors for Young Readers is a program that celebrates the wonderful world of children’s literature in memory of a very special young reader, Maggie Trafton. Admission is free. For more information call the children’s room at 333-6640, ext. 3
Bullying prevention program Nov. 6
LEWISTON — Stop Bullying will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Nov. 6, at Royal Oak Room/Iron Horse Court, 1 Bates St.
Stan Davis and local school leaders will discuss how to build a safe, consistent and connected culture for children. This is an important event for all parents, caregivers and professionals who work with children.

Bullying affects both the person being bullied and the person behaving as a bully. Research shows that targets of bullying are more likely to grow up depressed and anxious. Bullies are much more likely than non-bullies to become adult criminals.
Christmas wreath workshop set
LISBON — Make your own Christmas wreath at Beaver Park Lone Pine Lodge on Saturdays, Nov. 23 and 30, from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m., and Sundays, Nov. 24 and Dec. 1, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Space is limited and registration is required. There will be a $12 charge per wreath made at the workshop. Payment is due at time of registration. Make checks payable to the Town of Lisbon.
Groups are invited to schedule special evening classes. All funds from the classes and sale of wreaths support projects at Beaver Park.
Legion Auxiliary plans craft fair
AUBURN — American Legion Post 31 Ladies Auxiliary will hold a craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at the post, 426 Washington St. North.
Tables without electricity can be rented for $20. Tables with electricity are $25. All tables must be reserved two weeks prior to the event.
