LEWISTON — Kevin Lewis, CEO of Maine Community Health Options, recently announced that Nancy Grenier, RN, has joined the organization as manager of care coordination.

MCHO is a nonprofit organization that will provide affordable health insurance to Maine people and small businesses. MCHO plans became available for enrollment on Oct. 1 for coverage beginning as early as Jan. 1, 2014.

In addition to being a registered nurse, Grenier is certified as a health care risk manager and is a process improvement coach trained in the usage of clinical microsystems and LEAN tools to implementation change. With more than 34 years of experience in all phases of health care operations, she is well-versed in aspects of care management, practice management, risk management, quality improvement and pay for performance programs.

Grenier received her nursing degree from Central Maine Medical Center School of Nursing. Her recent experience includes working with Maine Quality Counts as the transformation team leader to support the Maine Patient Centered Medical Home pilot.

She lives in Lewiston with her husband and their three sons.
