SOUTH PARIS — The Western Maine Community Action CareerCenter will host orientations to services/training sessions in November and December at the Chamber of Commerce building, 4 Western Ave.
The sessions are: 9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 7; 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20; 9 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5; 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19.
The sessions are aimed at those who lack skills to seek new employment, were laid off from a previous job or are low income. There are some upcoming occupationally based skills training programs in the local area and additional training opportunities for those willing to travel. Online training options may also be available.
