AUGUSTA — Isabelle Arbour, 96, died Thursday, Oct. 24, at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Augusta campus.

She was born in St. Prosper, Quebec, Canada, on Feb. 16, 1917, a daughter of the late Albert and Delvina (Poulin) Rodrigue. She attended school in Canada and was a communicant of St. Michael’s Parish.

Isabelle was employed for 33 years at Bates Manufacturing, Edwards Division. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Society and the Cushnoc Senior Citizens.

Isabelle is survived by her daughter, Claudette Bridgers and her husband, Ed, of Cape Coral, Fla.; a step-daughter, Therese Gates and her husband, Larry, of Athens, Texas; two sisters, Sister Marie Rodrigue of Quebec, Canada, and Grace Laflamme of Lewiston; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband, Anselme Arbour; a step-son, Gerard Arbour; a step-daughter, Jeanne D’Arc Daigle; and five brothers and four sisters.
