1959 – 2013
AUBURN — Gary K. Seymore, 53, of Avon, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, at the Androscoggin Hospice House, with his family by his side.
He was born in Portland on Nov. 24, 1959, the son of Agnes M. Coolong. Gary attended Mt. Abram High School and served his country in the U.S. Army from 1979-85. He later worked for New England Wire in Kingfield for 10 years.
When Gary was young he loved to draw, but recently he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping, and especially loved to build rock walls. He will be loved and sadly missed by his extended families of the Knights and Ward.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Chrystal (Ward) Seymore, of Avon, whom he married on July 1, 1979; his mother, Agnes Cook of Phillips; his daughter, Lisa M. Seymore of Lewiston; his granddaughter, Desiray R. Waye; his sister, Gale Scavone of Annapolis, Md.; and his cousin, Rhonda Cole of Fryeburg.
He was predeceased by his brother, Rocky D. Seymore.
