Greetings!

Boy, does time fly when you move to a new area and start a new job all in one summer! I would like to thank each and every one of you I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, for warmly welcoming me to my new job and to Franklin County.

I started as executive director of the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce on July 15, 2013. It has been a whirlwind of introductions, new faces and names, learning my way around and taking in the beautiful scenery that Maine’s high peaks region has to offer.

I’ve also had the pleasure of stepping through the doors of many businesses and organizations for the first time. It has been exciting to say the least, and I’m very thankful to be right where I am.

For those of you whom I have not yet met, thank you for your patience. You will hear from me soon as I look forward to face time with each and every member of the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce.

Please mark your calendars and plan to join us for our very special Annual Awards Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013. We will be “Celebrating Stars in Business & Community” with awards going to large business of the year, small business of the year, and civic group/nonprofit organization of the year.
