LEWISTON — M. Claire McGuigan, 82, of Lewiston, died Friday, Oct. 25, at Montello Commons.

She was born in Lewiston on Dec. 25, 1930, the daughter of Hugh Ernest and Elaine P. (Madore) McGuigan. Card games and bingo were a few of the activities Claire enjoyed at Montello Commons, where she resided. She shared stories with Montello staff from her nursing career.

She had a long work history and put herself through nursing school at St. Mary’s in Lewiston.

She is survived by sister, Arline J. Hicks; a sister-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, one sister and two brothers.
