It would be comical if it weren’t so sad. The Sun Journal’s front page report (Oct. 26) on the governor’s new war on drug crimes is another example of the governor blaming low-income women for the drug prevention fiasco the federal and state governments have perpetuated for the past couple of decades.
The governor indicated that infants born drug-dependent should be taken away from their parents. That is seldom the answer.
