LIVERMORE FALLS — The Spirit of the Season Committee is accepting donations for Santa’s Workshop on Dec. 14.
Santa’s Workshop allows children to buy items for their family for 25 cents each to give as Christmas presents. The Livermore Falls Betterment Group wraps the gifts for them.
All the gifts are donations from townspeople — items they don’t need or want, according to committee member Carmen Cullen.
Items may be dropped off at Cumberland Farms on Main Street in Livermore Falls. Clothing will not be accepted.
The committee also plans the Christmas Parade and raises money for coats for schoolchildren in Jay, Livermore and Livermore Falls. They are accepting monetary donations for that project, too.
