LEWISTON — It’s the time of year again to showcase students’ talents.
The annual Green Ladle Open House will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9.
Sample from more than 20 tables of food and meet this year’s group of senior and junior culinary students.
There will be samples of French and southern comfort delicacies. Football fans will want to visit the gourmet tailgate and chili and chowder tables.
Also available is the always popular seafood and Italian tables. Smoked meats might be a favorite to some and there will be plenty to taste.
There will also be gluten-free items, Asian foods including sushi and appetizers, and quiche and other brunch items.
Sweets will include assorted cheesecakes, whoopie pies, pies, tarts and other guilt-free goodies.
Cost is $8 per person. Cash or check will be accepted at the door; they are not able to accept debit or credit cards.
