1966 – 2013
PORTLAND — Jane (Eccles) Winkley, 47, of West River Road in Augusta, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Nov. 2, at Maine Medical Center.
She was born in Lewiston on July 20, 1966, the daughter of Ronald L. Eccles and Rita J. (LeBlanc) Eccles. Jane was a 1984 graduate of Cony High School in Augusta.
She was employed at Head Start as a child care provider, as well as a CNA for Williams Nursing Home during her working years. She was also an active member of the Augusta YMCA.
She is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Winkley and Nicole Garfield; four grandchildren, Nathaniel, Kaleb, Trinity and JJ.; and one brother, John Eccles and his wife, Leanne, and their two children, Ava and Cameron.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were her great joy in life.
Jane will be sadly missed by all who loved her.
