TURNER — Nearly a year after it opened and brought life back to the former Chick-A-Dee, the Landmark Restaurant has closed.

The Chick-A-Dee restaurant had operated for 77 years at the high-traffic site on Route 4 before closing in May 2012.

Landmark owner Rhonda Hart opened her restaurant in the same building last November and picked the name because the Chick-A-Dee had been such a local landmark.

It had a country theme and served breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Hart confirmed the closure on Wednesday and declined further comment.
