1947 – 2013
SARASOTA, Fla. — Elaine L. (Fuller) Robinson of Sarasota, Fla., passed away quietly in her home on Wednesday, Nov. 6, surrounded by her loving family.
Elaine was born in Lewiston on March 1, 1947, to Donald and Laura Fuller. She traveled and lived abroad on three separate occasions in Libya and Aruba, and shortly before her retirement in Russia. In the United States, she lived in the Chicago area, central Wisconsin and for nearly 20 years in Miami. Travel and new experiences were in her blood, which made her an excellent companion for her husband and other travel buddies.
Elaine’s passion for literature ranging from Dostoevsky to Paula Dean led her to a bachelor’s degree in English from Florida International University in 1995. She enjoyed gourmet cooking, travel and golf.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Patrick Robinson; two sons, Charles and Andrew; daughter-in-law, Kalliope; grandson, Nikolas; and three sisters, Sheila Fuller-Blodgett, Kathleen Fuller-Cutler and June Fuller.
Elaine is predeceased by her parents and brother, Robert.
