FARMINGTON — A dedication ceremony for the new Mt. Blue Campus and the Bjorn Auditorium will be held Thursday, Nov. 14.

Tours will begin at 6 p.m., with the ribbon-cutting and dedication ceremony at 7.

The $65 million renovation project at Mt. Blue High School and Foster Career and Technical Education Center took three years and was completed this year.

The project included a two-story addition, renovation of a three-story classroom wing, a new 500-seat auditorium and new athletic fields.

Gone are the more than 25 modular classrooms.

The academic classrooms are intermingled with career and technical education classrooms in the building.

Lights automatically go on when someone enters a room and off when they leave. The hallways are the same.

New technology also allows exterior entrances and exits to be monitored when a door is open or propped open. There are other security features as well.

A presentation forum is equipped with more than 100 seats and the newest technology.
