PARSONS — John Wiswell, 87, of Farmington, died in Lewiston, Saturday, Nov. 2. A time of memorial visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 14, at the Wiles Funeral Home, Cremation Service & Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Rd., Farmington. At the conclusion of the visitation, military honors will be held in recognition of John’s service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made in his memory to support the MedCare/Allan Parsons Boardroom for supplies and necessary upkeep. Contributions may be made out and sent to MedCare Ambulance, 290 Highland Terrace, Mexico, ME 04257. It is nice to think of Allan and John working together for the group. Allan enjoyed working for the EMT service until he was killed in the line of duty. MedCare has been very supportive and helpful to Allan’s whole family since then.
