BETHEL — Fred H. Nolte Jr., 64, of Bethel, died Sunday, Nov. 10, at his home.
He was born in Chicago, Ill., on Oct. 9, 1949, the son of Fred H. Nolte Sr. and Mildred Myer-Nolte. He graduated from Northwestern University with a bachelor’s degree in math. He was the proprietor of the Chapman Inn in Bethel.
Fred was an avid golfer and a member of the Bethel Inn Country Club. He was a former member of the Bethel Rotary Club.
He is survived by his sister, Marge Hannon of Chicago, Ill.; his life partner and fiancée, Sandra Frye; his daughters, Jessica and her husband, Will, and Tracy; grandchildren, Louis, Jaylee, Alannah, Telise, Will Jr., Whyllie and Tyler; niece, Barbara; nephews, Kevin and Patrick; and several great-nieces and -nephews.
