Ski resort to hold swap, pass day

RUMFORD — Black Mountain Ski Resort will hold a ski swap and season pass day from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, at the base lodge.

Sport Thoma Ski Shop will sell new and used ski and snowboard equipment.

Anyone wishing to sell items may drop them off from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15.

Season passes can be purchased or picked up for $150. All Maine students in kindergarten, first and second grades ski free.

Leaders’ Association annual 4-H Ticket Auction

PARIS — The Oxford County 4-H Leaders’ Association needs help in providing 4-H youth development opportunities to young people.

The 4-H Ticket Auction has been scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Oxford Hills Middle School cafeteria. Doors will open at 4 p.m.  and drawing begins at 6.
