SUMNER — Pastor Howard MacMullen invites the community to take part in the upcoming holiday events at the Congregational Church of East Sumner, 50 Main St.

Sunday to Sunday, Nov. 17 to 24: Food collection for Thanksgiving Baskets, monetary collection for Operation Santa Claus.

Wednesday, Nov. 27: Thanksgiving Eve Light Meal, 6 p.m., service 7.

Sunday to Sunday, Dec. 1 to 22: Advent Sunday worship services. 9 a.m.; special music will be provided by the Sunday school, choir and soloists.

Saturday, Dec. 7: Congregational Church of East Sumner raffle table at the Holiday Craft Fair at Buckfield Jr./Sr. High School, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; community baked ham supper by church youth at 5:30 p.m., donations benefit Youth Camp Scholarships.

Saturday, Dec. 21: Outdoor Living Nativity performed by church youth at 6 p.m., followed by refreshments in the vestry.

Tuesday, Dec. 24: Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at 7 p.m.
