Trail Blazers need firewood

MEXICO — The Mexico Trail Blazers snowmobile club will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, downstairs at the Mexico Town Hall on Route 2. All are welcome.

To become a member to help support the club, join at a meeting or by calling Nick Brown at 364-8665.

Available are Think Snow dance tickets and raffle tickets for the event on Jan. 11.

The group is in need of firewood for the clubhouse. Donations can be dropped off at the groomer building on Pine Street or by calling Nick, above.

Mexico class to have Thursday lunch

MEXICO — The Mexico High School Class of 1958 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at the Route 2 Diner.

WOWS to hold meeting

RUMFORD — Widows and widowers sharing will meet at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, at the Peru School, 30 Main St.

Entertainment will provided by Nickels and Dimes and snacks will be provided by Evelyn Canwell and Yvonne Elliott.

Seniors meeting is canceled

RUMFORD — A Rumford Senior Citizens board and membership meeting, to have been held on Wednesday, Nov. 27, has been canceled because of the holiday.

Members are  reminded to sign up for the Christmas party on Dec. 12 at the Rumford American Legion. It will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost is $12.
