What childish behavior the newly re-elected mayor of Lewiston displayed on the front page of the Sun Journal the day following the election. Imagine gloating over his victory while sticking out his tongue. To top it all off, he was quoted as saying “There are a lot of people that just don’t like Larry Gilbert.”

To resort to such behavior is not only childish, it is an insult to those of us who re-elected him. What a small person for being such a big man.

Shame on Bob Macdonald for his behavior. And shame on me for actually requesting a “Re-elect Bob Macdonald” sign for my front lawn.

What a poor example of leadership.
