1929 – 2013

VOORHEES, N.J. — Florence B. (nee Cummings) Vanaman, 84, of Mt. Laurel, N.J., died Tuesday, Nov. 19. 

She was born in Auburn on April 30, 1929, the daughter of George W. Cummings and Florence M. Johnson, and was raised in Auburn.

Florence raised her family in Mount Laurel, N.J. She was an artist, known for having the best-decorated house for Halloween. She was devoted to her family, all of whom loved her deeply. She lovingly raised her children and then cared for her grandchildren. 

She was the wife of the late Ralph E. Vanaman Sr.; the loving mother of Lydia Marsh, Leslie Dougherty and Ralph E. Vanaman Jr.; and dear grandmother of Ashley, Chelsea and Brittnee Marsh, Eric Childers, Matthew Dougherty and Alexander and Joe Vanaman.

She will be greatly missed.
