1932 – 2013

LISBON FALLS — Edmund Wallace Needham, 81, of Lisbon Falls, passed away quietly in his sleep, Nov. 19, at his home.

He was born Jan. 27, 1932, in Mechanic Falls, the son of Omar H. and Esther R. (Beaumont) Needham. He was educated in Mechanic Falls schools. He enjoyed camping, fishing, rod making, hunting, photography and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was a member of the Free Masons, Sons of the American Legion, Slovak Catholic Association, Lisbon Left Hand Club, Biggest Bucks in Maine Club and the Worumbo Falls Salmon Club.

He was predeceased by his loving wife, Joanne Needham, of 49 years.

He is survived by his three sons, David Needham, James Needham and Matthew Needham; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
