1921 – 2013

LEWISTON — Etheline B. (Brown) Cloutier, 92, of Lewiston, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, at Montello Manor, after a long illness.

She was born in Eagle Lake on Feb. 20, 1921. She married George J. Cloutier on Jan. 31, 1959; he predeceased her on Dec. 30, 1996. In her early years, Etheline was a hairdresser at the Peck’s building in Lewiston. She was a member of Holy Family Church.

Etheline enjoyed knitting, cooking, baking, shopping and socializing with many friends and family. She also enjoyed her many years as a homemaker, raising her son, Howard.

She leaves her son, Howard Cloutier, of Delaware; and two nephews, Howard and Gary Brown.

She was predeceased by her parents; two brothers, Lyman Brown and Howard Brown; and a sister, Theresa.
