LISBON FALLS — Philip and Bernice (Bunny) Berry of Lisbon Falls recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary and Mrs. Berry’s 85th birthday, with a small family dinner party at the home of their daughter, Sherry, and son-in-law, Charles Gurney in Lisbon Falls.

A sparkling cider toast, decorated cake with their photo on it and a fall arrangement of flowers were presented to the couple in celebration of their anniversary. For Mrs. Berry’s 85th birthday, her favorite dessert was served, an apple pie.

Mr. Berry and the former Bernice Karkos were married Oct. 23, 1958, at Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Lisbon Falls.

Mr. Berry retired from Pejepscot Paper Co. in 1990, after 33 years of service. Mrs. Berry was the best stay-at-home mom.
