1936 – 2013

NEWARK, Calif. — Robert Willman Baker entered into rest on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at his home in Newark, Calif.

Born Jan. 10, 1936, he was an instrument mechanic for the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Geological Survey Topographical Mapping Service for 32 years, and was the driver for Instructional Materials Center at Newark Unified School District for eight years. He was also a longtime member of Newark Christian Center.

Robert was the devoted husband of Glenda Baker and beloved father of Walter R. Baker of Newark, Calif.; dearest brother of Linda Milburn of Maine and Edward Baker of Alabama; and loving son of the late Walter and Edna Baker.
