BRIDGTON (AP) — Police are searching for a man who stole prescription painkillers from a Bridgton drug store.
Police say a man entered the Rite Aid Pharmacy at about 2:15 p.m. Thursday and handed the pharmacist a note demanding Oxycodone.
Chief Kevin Schofield said the robber fled with an undisclosed amount of the drug.
Schofield told the Portland Press Herald (http://bit.ly/180pUL9 ) that it appears the robber got into a silver sedan that the headed south toward Naples on Route 302 in a silver sedan. It is believed a second person was driving the car.
The robber had a slender build and was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweat shirt, dark pants and sunglasses.
