NEWTON, Mass. — Catherine R. “Cathy” Jepsen of Newton, Mass., passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 27.

Cathy, daughter of the late William and Jessie (Macdonald) Jepsen, will be sorely missed by her siblings, William Jr. of Maryland, Laurie and her husband, Richard, Sonia of Newton and Niels and his wife, Joy, of Colorado. She was a loving gift to her nieces and nephews.

Cathy was the quintessential teacher to all her family and friends, and left a lasting impact on her many Newton students.
