Season outlook: The Vikings got off to a promising start at the Westlake tournament, with Hankey and Geiger each going 4-0 and Dexter winning three matches. Geiger placed third in the state a year ago, with Brooks reaching the championship round and Hankey and Dexter the consolation round at regionals. Oxford Hills is young on paper, but the freshmen are experienced at the youth level. Though numbers have dipped somewhat to 15 wrestlers this year, the Vikings’ individual strength will bear watching.
