On Sunday, Dec. 8, members of the Sons of the American Legion will host the annual Pearl Harbor Steak and Cheese Sub and/or Quesadillas event at the Post 153 home, 71 South Main St., Auburn. The event is scheduled to mark the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor and coincide with the New England Patriots versus Cleveland Browns game, to be broadcast at 1 p.m. Subs, at $5 each, will be available to the end of the game. A 50/50 drawing will benefit the Scholarship Fund. At last year’s Steak and Cheese Sub event, Commander Paul R. Bernard ate two subs and was considering a third.
