RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian burial with military honors for Thomas A. Warner Sr., of Mexico, was celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius-St. John Church, with the Rev. Greg Dube as celebrant.

Altar assistant was Bernard Poirier. Organist was Mark Belanger. Musical selections included the prelude “Danny Boy,” “Hosea,” “Amazing Grace,” “Fly Like a Bird” and “Precious Lord.” Readings from the Old and New Testament were pronounced by Barbara Doherty. Military honors were provided by the Maine Military Funeral Honors Program from Augusta.

Interment will be at the Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Civic Center Drive, Augusta. Pallbearers were Danny Warner, Greg Warner, Thomas Warner Jr., Don Justard, Barry Justard and Margaret “Peggy” Warner. A reception followed the service at the parish hall and was served by St. Timothy Circle, Daughters of Isabella. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., P.O. Box 537, Rumford, ME 04276.
