The board of commissioners of Auburn Housing Authority recently unveiled a plaque naming the meeting room at Vincent Square Apartments “The Norman C. McKeone Community Room” in honor of McKeone’s 19 years of service as a commissioner, and six as chairman of the Auburn Housing Authority. McKeone played a crucial role in the redevelopment of Broadview Acres, the Vincent Building and Webster School, as well as in the acquisition of the Roak Block.
