Key losses: Jaycee Jenckes (forward), Kayla Newbill (forward), Amy Hilton (guard), Meg Hall (forward), Gabby Foy (guard), Mackenzie Conlogue (guard), Alyssa Williams (guard).
Promising newcomers: Junior — Sara Cummings (5-8 forward); Sophomore — Eryn Doiron (5-6 guard), Mackenzie Harris (5-10 center/forward), Moesha Harrington (5-6 guard), Lauren Guppy (5-5 guard), Emilee Eustis (5-6 guard), Britlin Karkos (5-6 guard/forward).
Outlook: The Cougars lost a wealth of talent and experience from last year’s club. Nicely is a returning starter while Brinkman, Thompson, Knowles and Kane all saw regular time last year. Mt. Blue is much younger than a year ago. There is some returning talent and experience to lead the way but many players will be stepping into larger roles.
