Key losses: Girls: Silvia Lutick, Kate Bonney, Addy Fuller, Natalie Bolduc.
Promising newcomers: Girls: Seniors — Panisara Hataiyuth, Melissa Velasquez; Freshmen — Jillian Conant, Lily Meehan, Nicole Whitman. Boys: Seniors: Oscar Deroche, Warunyoo Boonkrajang; Sophomore — Chad Berry; Freshmen — Justin Cantin, Mike Kersey.
Season outlook: Graduation eliminated a large segment of the girls’ team that was runner-up to Winthrop by three points at the MVC meet. Dirigo will have three girls who have never been on skis before and are trying the sport for the first time. But with a significant number of returning racers on both sides, the Cougars have the ability to threaten in the conference meet. The boys are in shape, experienced and are looking forward to a successful season.
