Season outlook: School board approval of Winthrop’s new coach, Tim LaVallee, is still pending. When he becomes official, the Maine ski hall-of-famer is expected to bring excitement to a program that has struggled to grow its numbers. Jansen and Guerette each have the potential to finish in the top-10 at the conference and state meets.
