FARMINGTON — SugarWood Gallery will host the drawing for a quilt made by the Tuesday Quilters of Farmington. The drawing will benefit the Franklin County Ecumenical Heating Fund.
An open house is planned from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, when the drawing will be held for the quilt, pillows and accessories. The public is invited and refreshments will be served.
The quilt measures 60 by 80 inches. Tickets are on sale at SugarWood Gallery at 248 Broadway until the drawing. The cost is $1 per ticket or $5 for six.
According to the Rev. Susan Crane, ECU Heat Share coordinator, the goal is to raise $50,000 this season.
ECU Heat Share hopes to be able to assist more than 300 households this winter with a 50-gallon delivery of oil or equivalent, once per heating season. Recipients now provide the first $50 of the cost.
SugarWood Gallery is at 248 Broadway in Farmington and is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
