FARMINGTON — Farmington police Chief Jack Peck has named officer Ryan Rosie as the department’s Employee of the Quarter for the summer of 2013.

The award is based on Rosie’s investigation of a Middle Street burglary reported July 10. A resident reported that her home had been broken into and items, including a camera and decorative lighting, were stolen.

During the investigation, Rosie obtained two search warrants for residences on the Morrison Hill Road and Middle Street and recovered the camera and light set. He also arrested a 23-year-old man, Peck said.

“The combination of your experience, training and personal determination led to a successful conclusion to this crime,” Peck said in a news release. “By identifying and capturing the responsible person for this crime, you help the Farmington Police Department meet its mission ‘to create a feeling of safety for the people within the town of Farmington.’”
