FARMINGTON — Police say a shotgun and other items were taken from a home on Owen Mann Road on Friday.

The homeowner returned from work shortly after 5 p.m. to find the door had been kicked in, Shane Cote, Farmington police deputy chief, said. The shotgun, some clothing and change were taken.

The burglary occurred during the day, according to Sgt. Michael Adcock’s report. The case is under investigation.
