LEWISTON — The Marine Corps League Central Maine Detachment No. 810 will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, at its new meeting place, Holy Cross Senior Hall, 16 St. Croix St. Elections will be held.

Use the side door on the left side of the building, under the rectory.

YMCA offers new toddler program

AUBURN — Happy Hearts is a new program being offered at the Auburn-Lewiston YMCA for children 2-4 years of age (adult must be present). This class is designed to instill healthy lifestyles habits with an emphasis on movement and play in a safe environment – all while having fun.

Parachutes, balls, instruments and hoops are some of the favorites used to increase body awareness and social skills.

Registration began Monday. Class size is limited, register today. Classes begin Friday, Jan. 10, and will be held from 10:15 to 11 a.m. for eight weeks. Fees are $35 for Y members and $60 for community participants.
