The annual Christmas in the Valley event was held on December 6th, with a record crowd of merry-goers. As part of the event people were able to view 16 beautiful trees on display during the Festival of Trees celebration last Saturday in the Rumford Falls Auditorium. Voted the winning entry by those attending was the tree by the Searchlight Club. Second place went to the Hope Association, with third place to the Town of Rumford.
