AUBURN — Evelyn Marshall has been named Hospice Volunteer of the Year at Beacon Hospice, 245 Center St., Suite 10A, an Amedisys company. She was nominated by her peers at the company and was selected from hundreds of the company’s volunteers across 37 states.
The Hospice Volunteer of the Year award was presented to Marshall for her impact on patient lives, strengthening the hospice program, and serving as an inspiration to others in the community. Specifically, she was honored for the American flag wall hangings she creates for veteran patients cared for by Beacon Hospice to show her appreciation for their service to the country.
