LEWISTON — A funeral Mass honoring the life of Stella M. Chaloux was celebrated on Tuesday, Dec. 17, at Holy Cross Church, following prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home.

The Rev. Marc Caron celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. At the beginning of the Mass, Stella’s children, Diane Chaloux, Lorraine Fontaine, Louise Triggiani, Marcel Chaloux Jr. and Patrick and Joline Chaloux, placed the Pall on their mother’s casket, which commemorated her Baptism into a new life. During the Mass, the first reading was read by Stella’s daughter, Diane Chaloux, and the Prayer of the Faithful was read by her grandson, Jacob Chaloux.

Pallbearers were Anthony and Joel Rioux, Jacob and Nathan Chaloux, Dale Boucher and Tom Chaloux. A reception of fellowship was held at the Carriage House following the committal services at the cemetery.
