GREENWOOD — The University of Maine 4H Camp and Learning Center at Bryant Pond will offer an outdoor enrichment program during both Christmas and President’s holiday weeks at Mt. Abram.

Open to kids ages 5 to 14, the programs will focus on outdoors skills such as wilderness survival, wildlife, tracking and archery.

The sessions will be offered from 4 to 7 p.m., starting at the Westside Lodge, on Dec. 26, 28, 30 and Feb. 18, 20, 22. Each session will cost $30, including a box meal.

“We are very excited to partner with the 4H Camp and offer our younger guests a rewarding educational experience,” said Dave Scanlan, Mt. Abram general manager. “These programs are designed to be both fun and teach skills that will last a lifetime.”

Pre-registration is recommended and can be done in person at the Mt. Abram Child Care Center at Westside Lodge.
