Illegal and legal immigrants are in the land of milk and honey and opportunity (which doesn’t exist for the hard-working average American). In response to a Sun Journal story of Dec. 4, it seems there are some immigrants who have been cheating the “system,” misusing EBT cards and funds from federal housing programs.
The state and federal governments are taking more taxes from working Americans’ paychecks every year to help those illegal and legal immigrants. People who don’t understand “illegal” should wake up; it is our tax money.
The hard-working taxpayers don’t have the money to help the economy because of those high taxes. That is why the economy is out of control.
Illegal and legal immigrants who cheat the welfare system should be deported back to their country of origin. But hard-working Americans should hold onto their wallets.
State and federal governments should put a photo identification on all welfare cards to help stop the cheating.
