The meal will consist of shepherd’s pie along with a dinner roll, pickled beets, and a homemade cookie for dessert. After the meal, patrons will be invited to stay for a concert by Auburn resident Larry Gowell who will perform songs by Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and others. Gowell will be joined on a couple of songs by his vocal coach, French chanteuse and fellow Franco Center veteran Joëlle Morris.

Doors open at 10 a.m. As has been the case for the past several years, admission to the meal and the entertainment is $7 and the public is invited. However, to secure a place at the table, reservations must be made by calling the Franco Center at 207-783-1585 before 4 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 6.

Leave a message with your name and phone number so that Franco Center staff may return the call to confirm reservations.

This performance is one of two that Gowell will be performing this winter at the Franco Center. He will be performing a full-length evening concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21. Tickets for that concert are on sale now for $10, a price that includes hors d’oeuvres.
