BOSTON, Mass. — Judith Amanda Chase, née Cloutier, of West Gardiner, passed away at Massachusetts General Hospital on Thursday, Dec. 19.

Judith worked in the admissions office at Hebron Academy for 30 years and was an active member of the Hebron Community Baptist Church. Her generosity of time and spirit, her energy, her wise counsel and her abundance of love will be sorely missed by her former colleagues and her family.

She was predeceased by her parents, Rosario G. Cloutier Sr. and Juliette Vigue Cloutier, and is survived by her husband of 48 years, William B. Chase; brothers, Norman Cloutier, Rosario Cloutier Jr. and Paul Cloutier; daughters, Juliet Chase Bailey and Nicole Chase; and granddaughter, Sophia Chase Bailey.
