1928 – 2014
LEWISTON — Robert R. Cote Sr. passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday morning, Jan. 3.
He was born in Lewiston on Nov. 16, 1928, and lived in Lewiston most of his life. He worked in construction and then spent 45 years at the Bates Mill, until retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Marie (Hiltunen) Cote; his daughter, Darlene Polley and husband, Ken; sons, Butch Cote, Ron Cote, Ray Cote, Robert Cote Jr. and wife, Sherry, Rockwell Cote and wife, Miranda, and Rene Cote and his fiancée, Colleen; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by seven sisters and four brothers.
He was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers.
